User interface elements such as scroll bars,
checkboxes, radio buttons, sliders, and pull-down lists have a new
fresher look. This does not affect their functionality.
Icons in the palette and shelves now
have their labels turned off by default to reduce clutter. When
the cursor is over an icon, a tooltip appears displaying the tool name.

can turn the icon labels back on in Preferences > General
Preferences.
