Show or hide different items (geometry, lights,
grid, and so on) on a per-window basis.
Hide/show items from the
window title bar
This
is the easiest and quickest way to change the visibility of items
in a single window.
- Click the Show button
in the title bar of the window where you want to change the visibility
of items.
A menu
is displayed.
- Click an item type to show it (check
mark) or hide it (no check mark).
NoteHold down the
key to toggle several items
without closing the menu. Click outside the menu to close it.
Hide/show items from the
Show option box
This method works for
the current window or all windows.
- Choose WindowDisplay > Show ❒ to open the option box.
- Select a mode (Show or Toggle)
- Put a check mark in the boxes of all
items you want to affect.
- Put a check mark next to All
Windows if you want to affect the visibility of items
in all windows, or remove the check mark to affect only the current
window.
- Click Go.
The settings take effect
if the item type chosen is currently visible. If the item is turned
off on an object basis (for example, by using one of the ObjectDisplay menu
items), it remains off regardless of the choice made in the Show option
box.
NoteThe
individual tools are still available from the WindowDisplay
> Toggles menu to make it easier to add the different
display toggles to shelves.
NoteAnimation
items (such as skeletons and IK handles) can be toggled from the Animation
> Show menu.
