Reload a container template

If you have updated a template XML file outside of Maya you need to reload it in order to synchronize the container with your changes.

For example, if you have reorganized the attributes within a custom view using an external XML editor, you need to reload the template in order for your changes to be displayed.

To reload a template

In the left panel of the Asset Editor, select a container that uses the template you have updated and click the Pin icon .
From the Asset Editor menu bar, select Template > Reload.
Maya reloads the template and updates the display of attributes in Maya’s various editors.
