The “mental ray iray” rollout contains the main controls for the iray renderer.

Interface

Rendering Duration per Frame

Lets you specify how to control the process of rendering.

Time(The default.) Set the duration of the rendering in Hours, Minutes, and Seconds. Default = 1 minute.
Iterations (number of passes)Set the number of rendering passes to run. Default=500.
UnlimitedChoose this to let the renderer run for an indefinite period of time. When you are satisfied with the result, you can click Cancel on the Rendering Progress dialog.
