The Save Sequence button saves the current Video Post sequence to disk.
All of the Video Post configuration data, the queue events themselves, and any queue event external data are saved in the MAX file. You can also save the Video Post sequence to a separate VPX file for sharing with other 3ds Max users.
VPX (Video Post sequence) files contain all the information relating to the queue and all associated settings and references. They have the file extension .vpx and are stored by default in the 3ds Max\vpost folder.
Saving queue data to a separate file allows you to use the same Video Post settings in different scenes, and also allows you to share sequences with other 3ds Max users.
To save the active Video Post data:
A file selection dialog appears to let you enter a name for the new Video Post file.
By default, Save Sequence stores the VPX file to the \3dsmax\vpost subdirectory. You can change the default path to another directory via the Configure User Paths dialog File I/O panel.
