The Pan tool adjusts the viewpoint of the model by moving it within the screen plane.
When the pan tool is active, the cursor changes to a four-sided arrow. As you drag the cursor, the direction you drag moves
the scene in the same direction. For example, dragging upward moves the scene up while dragging the cursor downward moves
the scene down.
TipIf the cursor reaches the edge of the screen, you can continue panning by dragging the cursor further to force it to wrap
around the screen.
Procedure
To pan the view with the wheel Pan tool:
- Display a wheel that has the Pan tool.
- Click the Pan wedge. Hold down the button on your pointing device and drag to reposition the model.
- Release the button on your pointing device to return to the wheel.
- To exit the wheel, right-click.
