Syflex Damp

This compound applies a damping force that slows down the movement of the simulated cloth or curve object by dissipating its energy. The intensity of the damp force is proportional to the simulated object's velocity.

This compound is used in the Syflex Cloth and Syflex Curve compounds.

To apply: See Using the Syflex Damping Forces.

Tasks: Syflex/Forces

Output Ports:The Force output plugs into a Force port on the syflexISimul node, which controls the Syflex simulation.

Damp

The damp coefficient, which controls the intensity of the damping effect.

High values slow down the movement of the simulated object; however, increasing the damping may also increase the computation time.
