Retiming

Stretches or contracts the timings of a selected range of frames. The retiming can be cushioned using a graph.

Requires an Input (Any).

Produces an Output (Any).

Retiming

Source Clip Range

Specifies the frames in the source to be used as Start and End frames when retiming.

Duration

Sets the number of frames to retime your clip into. By default, Duration is set to your current clip length.

Averaging

Normally, when you retime a clip, either by reducing or increasing the number of frames in it, the resulting clip contains some blurring of the original frames. Softness lets you change or remove blurring in the clip.

Graph Preset

Allows the mapping of source to destination timings to be cushioned, or eased in or out. Graph Preset can be one of the following:

Linear: The frames in your clip are copied into the destination number of frames. For example, a ten frame clip with a destination clip size of 20 is copied frame 1 into frames 1 and 2, frame 2 into frames 3 and 4 etc.

Reverse: The clip is reversed and copied into the destination number of frames. For example, a ten frame clip with a destination clip size of 20 is copied frame 1 into frames 20 and 19, frame 2 into frame 18 and 17 etc.

Bounce: The clip is first played forward and then backward into the destination number of frames.

Slow Fast: The clip is eased in to the destination number of frames.

Fast Slow: The clip is eased out of the destination number of frames.

User Defined: Lets you set your own mapping of source to destination timings. The horizontal axis represents the source clip timings, and the vertical axis represents the destination timings.
