Replaces the Topology of the "self" object with one or more copies of the specified mesh at the specified transformations.
For a procedure, see Repeating Polygon Mesh Topology.
Tasks: Topology/Generators, Topology/Copy and Merge
Output Ports: Execute
Connect the name of the source polygon mesh, or a prefix to use with Reference.
Source Name
Specify the source polygon mesh. If anything is connected to In Name, it gets prefixed to the name specified here.
Polygon Mesh Source
The number of copies. This value will not be used if you connect a point cloud or group.
Copies the Materials and MaterialID attributes from the source mesh. These attributes must already exist. Note that this does not copy the material applied to the object, nor does it copy clusters or materials applied to clusters.
Texture Projection
Copies the values from a texture projection or ICE attribute on the source mesh to another attribute on the clone that can
be used as texture UV coordinates.
A texture projection or ICE attribute on the source to use as texture UV coordinates.
The name you want to use for the attribute on the clone that can be used as texture UV coordinates.
Transform
How to apply the transform specified below:
- interpolates the transforms between identity and the value below.
- applies the transform below to each copy in succession.
The transformation to apply to the copies. This value will not be used if you connect a point cloud or group.
Connect the name of a group. If anything is connected here, the number of objects in the group and their transformations override
the Nb of Copies and Transform values set above.
Point Cloud Template
When using a point cloud, it overrides the Nb of Copies and Transform values set above.
Connect the name of a point cloud on the source polygon mesh, or a prefix to use with Reference.
Specify a point cloud. If anything is connected to In Name, it gets prefixed to the name specified here.
Uses the particles' Orientation attribute to set the rotation of the copies.
Uses the product of the particles' Size and Scale attributes to set the scaling of the copies.
Connect any execute-type nodes you want to run immediately after copying.
