Replacing Constrained Rigid Bodies

 
 
 

After you have constrained rigid bodies, you may want to change (replace) the currently-constrained rigid body with another one. You can do this easily without having to reapply the constraint to the new rigid bodies.

To add or remove rigid bodies to a constraint

Open an explorer and do either of the following:

  • Add rigid bodies by dragging them into the Attached Bodies group under the constraint object's node (see The Simulation Environment).

    or

  • Remove rigid bodies by dragging them out of the group or by right-clicking them and choosing Remove from Group.

As you do this, the links update showing the new constraint relationships. If there are more than two rigid bodies in the group, only the first two objects are used.
