Constrains the endpoints of two curves together.

To apply: See Stitching Curves [Surface and Curve Modeling].

To redisplay: Select either curve then choose Edit Properties Modeling Properties and click the Stitch Curves tab.

Clean

Tolerance

The maximum allowable error for calculating the stitch.

Continuity

The continuity at the point where the curves meet:

  • Position (C0). The seam may have a sharp point.

  • Tangent (C1). The tangent at the seam does not change abruptly.

  • Curvature (C2). Neither the tangent nor the curvature at the seam changes abruptly.

Seam Mode

The location of the seam between the curves.

  • First Curve. The seam is located at the endpoint of the first curve.

  • Second Curve. The seam is located at the endpoint of the second curve.

  • Average. The seam is located midway between the curves.

Modify Tangent

Specifies the curves whose tangents are modified to maintain continuity.

  • First Curve. The tangent of the first curve is modified.

  • Second Curve. The tangent of the second curve is modified.

  • Both Curves. The tangents of both curves are modified.

Start, End Curve

These parameters affect the blending between the two curves.

Range

Affects the position where blending begins on the corresponding curve.

Tangent Scale Factor

Affects the extent of the influence of the curve on the blend.
