The MetaSL shaders provided with Softimage include many sample shaders from NVIDIA. There are a wide range of shaders from high-level phenomena such as thin glass, to low-level nodes for building custom shading trees.
They can be used in High Quality display mode (they get compiled to CgFX on-the-fly), or for rendering with mental ray (they get compiled to C++ mental ray shaders).
