Converts parameter maps with multiple component, such as RGBA colors, to a single dimension. This property is automatically
created when you connect a map with multiple components to a scalar mappable parameter, such as Amplitude.
To display: Click the Map Adaptor icon underneath the operator with a mapped parameter in an explorer.
The parameters that appear depend on the type of map. There may be any of the following:
|
Controls the color lookup used when there are more geometric points than pixels in the image. Used by texture maps.
-
uses the unmodified color of the pixel at that point.
-
uses a weighted average with adjacent pixels. The filter is linear in both U and V.
-
also uses a weighted average with adjacent pixels. The filter is cubic in both U and V, yielding smooth color transitions.

Used by texture maps and vertex color properties.

|
Used by texture projections.
|
|
Used by shapes and normal maps.
|
|
Used by envelope weights.
