Defines the basic properties of a raster paint clip. The paint clip can be an image that you import, or you can start with
a blank paint clip and paint it yourself.
Produces an Output (Any).
Paint Clip
File Path
|
Specifies the file name and path of the paint clip.

If the paint clip is an external image or sequence, this is the name and path of the imported file.

If you are starting with a blank paint clip, this is the name and path under which you will save the clip.
If is on, the path is displayed as you entered it. If is on, the resolved path is displayed. Valid names are displayed in white, invalid names are red, and read-only files are
gray.

Specifies the file format of the paint clip.

If the paint clip is an external image or sequence, this is the format of the imported file.

If you are starting with a blank paint clip, this is the format that the clip will be save as.

Displays the color channels that are included in the output image.
|
|
Displays the bit depth of the output image.

outputs an 8-bit image.

outputs a 16-bit image.

Image Size
|
Specifies the resolution of the paint clip.
|
Range
These options are only activated when the paint clip is identified as a sequence.
|
Specifies the clip's start and end frames.
|
|
Sets the increment between frames. This allows you to skip frames. For example, if you select 4, every fourth frame is used.
|

Choose one of these options to identify the paint clip as a still image or a sequence.

If the paint clip is an external image or sequence, this displays its original state. You can change it.

When you identify the paint clip as a sequence, the Rang options are activated.

Displays the number of modified frames.
|
Revert Changes
|
Reverts the current frame back to its original state, erasing all changes that you made by painting.
|

Reverts all frames back to their original state, erasing all changes that you made by painting.

Modified Frames
These options allow you to manage the clip's modified frames. Note that saving the scene saves all modifications to frames,
overwriting original frames on disk.

Lists the frames of the paint clip that have been modified. You can select frames from the list to save or revert them using
the other controls on this tab.

Save Frames
|
Saves any frames that are selected in the Modified Frames List. This overwrites the original frames on disk.
|
|
Saves all of the clip's modified frames. This overwrites the original frames on disk.
|
Revert Changes
|
Reverts the current frame to its original state, removing all changes that you've made.
|
|
Reverts any frames selected in the Modified Frames list to their original states, removing all changes that you've made.
|
|
Reverts all of the clip's frames to their original states, removing all changes that you've made.

File Options
Pre-Processing on Load and Save
|
When enabled, Cineon/DPX files are automatically converted from logarithmic color space to linear color space.
|
Range/Timing
|
When the Paint Clip source is a sequence, activating this option plays the sequence backwards.
|
Operator
|
The operator's name in the explorer and the FX Tree. You can change this to any name.
|
|
Toggles whether or not the operator is active. Deactivating this option mutes the operator.
