Sumi-e

The Sumi-e effect (pronounced sue-me-ay) renders an image in the Japanese sumi-e ink painting style. This effect is characterized by rich blacks with soft, blurry edges, suggesting the use of a wet brush imbued with ink on absorbent rice paper.
