To display: Choose any of the Sequence Animation commands from the Animation menu.

For more information about the Sequence commands, see Scaling, Offsetting, or Retiming Fcurve Animation [Animation].

Input Method

  • Offset and Scale offsets or scales the frames of animation according to the values you set in the Offset and Scale and Affected Scale & Offset Range section.

  • Retime (Before/After Range) resets the timing of the animation according to the values you set for the start and end frames in the Retime Range Before (Frames) and Retime Range After (Frames) sections.

Offset and Scale

Offset

The number of frames by which to offset the animation.

Scale

The value by which the current length of the scene (or frame range) is multiplied. For example, using a value of 3 makes a scene of 100 frames 300 frames long.

Pivot

If you set Scale, you can also set a pivot point from which the animation is reversed.

Affected Scale & Offset Range / Retime Range Before (Frames)

The frame range of animation that you want to scale, offset, or retime.

Start

The first frame of the range you want scaled, offset, or retimed.

End

The last frame of the range you want scaled, offset, or retimed.

Retime Range After (Frames)

The "target" frame range to which you want your animation scaled (retimed).

Start

The first frame of the target range.

End

The last frame of the target range.

Affected Items

Determines the Sequence Mode of the animation you want to scale, offset, or retime. You can choose from function curves, action clips in the animation mixer, or all animation sources, as well as combinations of these types.

As well, you can scale, offset, or retime the fcurves in either all or just the current animation layer.
