Determines the effect of a force on a rigid body.
To apply: Select an object and choose or from the Simulate toolbar.
To redisplay: Select the rigid body and choose from the Simulate toolbar. You can also click the rigid body's Force Controller icon in the explorer.
For more information, see Applying Forces to Rigid Bodies [ Simulation].

Where the force is applied on the rigid-body object:
-
applies force to the location of the object's center of mass. This prevents the object from spinning because no torque is
imparted.
-
applies force at each vertex of polygonal objects or at each control vertex of NURBS surfaces. This is the slowest but most
accurate choice.
-
applies force to the eight corners of the rigid body's bounding box. To see the object's bounding box, select Shading > Bounding
Box from the viewport menu.
