Markers can be used to annotate a clip in the animation mixer, such as for synchronizing certain parts of an animation with
audio clips.
For more information, see Marking Frames on Clips [Nonlinear Animation in the Animation Mixer].
To display: Select a clip marker and press Enter or choose from the mixer's command bar.
The name of the marker, which must be unique to other markers for any clip of any type for the model. By default, the name
is Marker plus a number to indicate its order of creation (such as Marker4). Spaces and other illegal characters are automatically
converted to underscores.
This name is the name of the marker as it appears in the explorer but not in the marker itself in the mixer; for that, set
the Value (below).
An arbitrary string of characters that you can use to identify the marker, such as different phonemes for audio synching.
This value appears in the marker below the clip in the mixer. You can use this parameter as an annotation. Any number of markers
can share the same value.
Classifies the marker as a certain type, such as a phoneme, text, emotion, or event type. The marker types make it easy to
find certain groups of markers, filter out markers using scripting, and lets you more easily exchange data.
Displays markers on different levels below the clip. For example, you may want to set different levels for different types
of markers or for overlapping markers.
Time Span
Start frame of the marker in global (scene) time. You can also change the marker's starting frame by moving the marker interactively
in the mixer.
