Your model must contain the following polygon meshes:
Head — see Modeling the Head for requirements
Eyes — see Modeling the Eyeballs for requirements
Teeth and Gums — see Modeling the Teeth and Gums for requirements
Tongue — A tongue is optional, but you may want to include one if it's going to be noticeable that your character doesn't have a tongue (such as if your character is yelling, screaming, doing close-up dialogue, and so on). You can also load a tongue mesh from the Parts tab on the Stage 1: Assemble panel. See Assembling the Face Objects.
To work with Face Robot, your model must meet the following general requirements:
Face Robot uses only polygon meshes. As well, try to use only quad polygons: triangles and n-sided polygons are not as good for deformation and should be kept to a minimum.
In Face Robot, you can edit the model's geometry (moving points, etc.), but are restricted from adding or removing points or polygons. You should ensure that the model's topology is final before scanning it on the Stage 1 panel — see Assembling the Face Objects.
Face Robot supports models in a wide range of scales. Good results have been achieved with 1 Softimage unit = 1 inch or 1 centimeter. While this isn't an exact requirement, try to make sure that the scale doesn't go much smaller or larger than this (for example, one unit equalling less than 0.5 cm might be too small, or more than 10 cm might be too large).
