This feature is only available in the Professional version of Showcase, and only as of the 2012 R1 release.
Use this tool to determine the distance between the centers of two circles. Do this by creating two circles based on three-point arcs, as described in the following procedure.
During this procedure, when you create the first circle, the radius and center point coordinates of that circle are displayed. This is useful for finding information about holes or circular objects in your sceneāfor example, wheels.
To measure the distance between two circle centerpoints:
Showcase extrapolates an arc from the three points and creates a circle based on that arc. The coordinates of the circle center point are displayed, as is the circle radius.
Showcase displays the two circles, a line connecting their respective centerpoints, and the distance of that line.
