Publish to the cloud

Autodesk 360 provides an online storage, sharing, and viewing service for your content. You can access your Autodesk 360 documents anytime, from anywhere, when you sign in to your account. Sign in to Autodesk 360 at http://360.autodesk.com or whenever prompted by Showcase.

Once signed in, you can use the Publish drop-down box in the Publish window to specify that your output go on your local computer, the Autodesk 360 cloud, or both.

To see Autodesk 360 help, go to http://www.autodesk.com/adsk360-help.

View and adjust Autodesk 360 settings for Showcase

  1. Click File > Settings > User Settings and select the Online Settings tab.
  2. To view usage information, change your password, or edit your profile, click View usage details.
  3. To see the list of documents you have stored in the cloud, click Autodesk 360.

This opens the Autodesk 360 Web site in your default browser. Autodesk 360 works best in Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, so consider making one of these your default browser.

  4. To disable or enable cloud storage, select Enable cloud storage. If you disable cloud storage, you will no longer have the option to publish content to the cloud from the Publish window.
  5. Set the default cloud behavior (save locally or to the cloud) using the options under Automatic cloud storage.
  6. If you want to set a custom cloud folder in which to store your documents, click Browse.
