Increase resolution in specific areas (PTEX)

To increase or decrease the resolution in specific areas

1. Select UVs & Maps > PTEX Setup so that the PTEX Setup window displays.
   
2. Select faces in the area where you want to increase resolution. (Hotkey: V)
   TipDuring PTEX setup, you can right-click the mesh and choose Select Faces Tool from the marking menu.
3. Do either of the following to increase or decrease the resolution of the selected faces:
   • Right-click the mesh and select Increase Resolution or Decrease Resolution from the marking menu.
   • In the PTEX Setup window, click Increase or Decrease.
