Import or export a custom Mudbox layout

Once you've created a Mudbox layout to suit your workflow (Create a custom layout), you can export the layout to share with other artists, or to create a backup in case you need to refresh your user settings.

To export a custom layout

1. Select Windows > Export Current Layout.
2. Enter a file name for the layout and browse to select a location where you want to save the .mudui file containing the current Mudbox layout.

To import a custom layout

1. Select Windows > Import Layout.
2. Browse to select a previously exported .mudui file containing the Mudbox layout you want.
