An example of a symmetrically posed model is one in which the features and layout of the polygon mesh on one half identically
match those on the opposite half.
Tip Create a new layer for your sculpting work when planning to use layer symmetry. You can merge the two layers when you are
finished.
- Sculpt on one half of the model.
- Select faces on that half of the model. (See Select and move items.)
- In the Sculpt Layers window, select > .
The sculpting on the half of the model you selected appears on the opposite side.
