Amplify, reduce, or invert sculpting on a layer

Select the Layers window.
In the Layers window, select the layer whose sculpting you want to modify.
Double-click the layer’s Strength value and enter a new value or drag the opacity slider keeping in mind the following:
- Increase the Strength setting to amplify the sculpting on the selected layer.
- Decrease the Strength value to reduce the sculpting on the selected layer.
- Set the Strength value to a negative number to invert the sculpting on the selected layer.
NoteBy default, the Strength setting has a range between 0 and 100. You can enter positive or negative values outside this range to amplify or invert the information stored on the layer.
