There are two types of communication classes provided, for both network and serial support to communicate with devices. Both of these classes can be found in fbio.h.

Communication classes:

• FBTCPIP: network, Non-blocking, blocking, and datagram.
• FBCommPort: serial. Full configurability of comm port (baud, parity, stop bits, and so on).
