Viewing layer weight animation

 
 
 

You can view and edit the animatable properties of animation layers themselves (such as Weight) in the Properties window, the FCurves window, and the Dopesheet window. First select the layer whose animation you want to view, then open the window in which you want to view its properties.

To view the layer’s Weight animation in the Properties window:

  1. Select the layer from either the Animation Layer editor or from the Key Controls window.
  2. In the Properties window, select the Weight property.

    As with other animatable properties, the Weight property’s Keyframe (K) and Animate (A) options can give you feedback as to whether there is a keyframe at the current time. See Keyframe (K) and Animate (A) buttons .

To view the layer’s Weight animation in the FCurves window:

  1. Select the layer from either the Animation Layer editor or from the Key Controls window.
  2. In the FCurves window, select the layer’s Weight property in the FCurves Properties pane.

    The Weight property’s function curves display in the FCurves pane, where you can edit them.

To view the layer’s Weight animation in the Dopesheet window:

  1. Select the layer from either the Animation Layer editor or from the Key Controls window.
  2. In the Dopesheet window, select the layer’s Weight property in the Dopesheet Property list.
