About the MotionBuilder Help

 
 
 

The MotionBuilder Help includes the following chapters in addition to the MotionBuilder User's Guide chapter which encompasses the MotionBuilder User Interface and workflow chapters:

To access the MotionBuilder Help:

  1. Launch MotionBuilder.
  2. In the main menu, choose Help MotionBuilder Help.
    TipThe Help is also available via the keyboard shortcut F1 within MotionBuilder.

To share a Help topic:

  1. Go to the (Help) topic page you want to share.
  2. At the top right of the topic page, click .

    Your default e-mail application launches with an e-mail that includes the topic subject and a link to the topic in the body of the e-mail.

To check the MotionBuilder Help version number and date:

  1. Launch MotionBuilder.
  2. In the main menu, choose Help MotionBuilder Help.
    TipThe Help is also available via the keyboard shortcut F1 within MotionBuilder.
  3. On the landing page of the Help, click the hyperlink ©Copyright 2013 Autodesk, Inc. All rights reserved.
    TipTo access the landing page while browsing the Help, at the top right of any Help topic page, click .

    The Legal Notices page displays.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the Legal Notices page.

    The Legal Notices page includes the document title, date, version, build version, and the software product version.

  • MotionBuilder Help Installation

    The English MotionBuilder Help is Internet-based by default. If you prefer to have the English MotionBuilder Help available on your Windows or Linux Operating System (OS) within the MotionBuilder software product, or if you wish to have the Japanese MotionBuilder Help available on your Windows or Linux OS within the MotionBuilder software product, the you need to install the Help on your OS and change the default Help preference setting.
