If you prefer to browse the MotionBuilder Help from your system rather than via the Internet, you need to change the default Help preference setting.
After installing the MotionBuilder Help on your OS, you need to change the default Help preference setting so you can to access the Help within the MotionBuilder software product.
To change the default English MotionBuilder Help preference setting from online Help to local Help on a Windows OS:
The default installation path for the local English MotionBuilder Help is set to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\Help\motionbuilder2014\en_us.
The Help is now accessible via the MotionBuilder Help menu and the MotionBuilder F1 keyboard shortcut.
To change the default English MotionBuilder Help preference setting from online Help to local Help on a Linux OS:
The default installation path for the local English MotionBuilder Help is set to: /usr/autodesk/help/motionbuilder2014/en_us.
The Help is now accessible via the MotionBuilder Help menu and the MotionBuilder F1 keyboard shortcut.
To change the Japanese MotionBuilder Help preference setting from online Help to local Help on a Windows OS:
