Select clips to rearrange them on their tracks. In some cases, you can only access some contextual menu items or perform actions
if a track has been selected.
To select a clip, do one of the following:
- Select a clip by clicking on it once. You can select multiple clips by Ctrl-clicking, Shift-clicking, or by Spacebar-dragging around them.
- You can also select clips using the Select contextual menu option (see Select Clips).
- You can also select a clip from the Viewer window by double-clicking its clip vector ghost.
NoteIf you have a clip selected when you change panels, they become deselected. This is to protect you from accidentally razoring,
cutting or deleting clips that are not visible or active.
