About the MotionBuilder SDK Help

Starting this release, the MotionBuilder SDK Help documentation is not included with the software installation. Instead, MotionBuilder calls the help from a web location. Access the MotionBuilder SDK Help online at the following link: http://www/autodesk.com/motionbuilder-sdkdoc-2012-enu. Since the SDK Help is published directly to the web, we will be providing regular updates and additions to content in an ongoing manner.

The web-based help is also accessible from within the MotionBuilder software.

To access the MotionBuilder SDK Help via the MotionBuilder software:

  1. Launch MotionBuilder.
  2. From the menu bar, select Help > MotionBuilder SDK Help.

    The MotionBuilder SDK Help launches.

If you want to install a local copy of the the SDK Help on your system, a download version is available at the following link: http://www.autodesk.com/motionbuilder2012-documentation.

NoteIf you choose to download a lockal copy of the SDK Help, you will need to unzip the Help and save it to a location on your hard drive. Locate the index.html file to launch the help documentation.
