Function curves (FCurves) are a graphical representation of the interpolation between keyframes, showing the value of an animated property over time.

The FCurves window lets you work with function curves to create and modify animation. You can use this window to alter the shape of function curves using tangent handles, change the timing of the animation, and filter captured data, until you are satisfied with your final result.
