Example:
import pymel.core as pm
# Create a curve
pm.curve(p=[(0, 0, 0), (3, 5, 6), (5, 6, 7), (9, 9, 9), (12, 10, 2)], k=[0,0,0,1,2,2,2])
# Result: nt.Transform(u'curve1') #
# Change the selection mode to components, and set edit-point selection mask on only
pm.selectMode(co=True)
pm.selectType(allComponents=False, editPoint=True)
# Create a new curve edit point editor context, then switch to it
# You can move the edit points using manipulator
pm.curveMoveEPCtx('curveMoveEPCtx1')
# Result: u'curveMoveEPCtx1' #
pm.setToolTo('curveMoveEPCtx1')
