You can access many of the common polygon tools and menu items through context sensitive marking menus. This saves you time
and streamlines your polygon modeling workflow. When you + in the scene view the marking menu shows different items depending on what components are currently selected:
- When you + in the scene view when nothing is selected the marking menu shows possible polygon creation options (for example, the , and various polygon primitive types are available). While the marking menu is displayed, drag your mouse to highlight the
desired item in the menu; the item is selected as if it were selected from the related polygon modeling menu.
- When a polygon object is currently selected the marking menu shows possible polygon modification operations for the selected polygonal object (for
example, , , , and others).
- When a polygon component is currently selected (for example, a vertex, edge, or face) the marking menu shows possible polygon modification operations
relevant to the selected component (for example, , , , and others). Conversely, when a polygon face is selected the marking menu shows features such as , , , and others.
