Merge polygon components with the Modeling Toolkit

The Modeling Toolkit Target Weld tool lets you interactively merge edges or vertices together.

To merge components using the Target Weld tool

1. In the Modeling Toolkit window, click Target Weld to activate the Target Weld tool.
2. Select a source component (edge or vertex) and drag it to a destination component (edge or vertex).

   The Target Weld tool highlights the source component in blue and the destination component in red. A red line appears between the two components.

3. Release your mouse button to merge the two components.
