Because the Maya FBX Plug-in supports so many software packages, it is inevitable that occasional problems will occur or some details will not yet have attained perfect support.
Occasionally, the default settings of plug-in do not respect a particular workflow, or the conversion process creates conflicts between two packages with similar but not identical functions. Sometimes a file is exported correctly but becomes inexplicably larger, or the assets in the file are no longer in the same location as they were before conversion.
