Color bleeding is a by-product of rendering with global illumination. You can affect color bleed with or without lights in
the scene.
To render color bleed with light sources in the scene
- Make sure is turned on for the light source(s). (It is on by default.)
- Select the object onto which you want to bleed color.
- Tweak the attribute of your object’s shaders if necessary.
- (Optional) Adjust the slider to reduce or increase intensity of the color bleed.
- Render with mental ray for Maya.
To render color bleed with no lights in the scene
- Turn off for the light source(s).
- Select the object onto which you want to bleed color.
- In the section of that object’s , do any of the following:
- Adjust the attribute.
- Add some color to the attribute.
- Render with mental ray for Maya.
