Repath window
Lets you change an existing file path to point to a different location.

The directory where Maya looks for files that are being repathed. You can enter a path manually, paste a path into the field,
or click to navigate to a new location. By default, is initially set to Maya's current working directory. If you are preparing a scene for use by someone with a different directory
structure or platform, you can path to non-existent files.
NoteTo repath a reference node, the target file must exist. Unlike other node types in the , you cannot repath references to non-existent files.

When on, Maya searches through sub-directories to the specified until the first instance of the file is found.

When on, Maya also attempts to repath any resolved files that are included in the selection.

Actions Preview window
Lets you preview the results of the repathing operation before it is performed.

Lists the number of paths that will be newly resolved and the number of paths that will remain unresolved as a result of the
repathing operation.

Lists details about the repathing operation including the name(s) of the file(s) that will be resolved, the name(s) of the
file(s) that will remain unsolved and the location of the newly resolved files.
