To assign an image plane to a new camera shot
- In the , select > .
- In the , specify the file you want to assign to this shot’s camera using the option.
Note
If you specify an image plane on a camera during shot creation, the image plane does not move to the new camera if you change
the camera used for the shot.
To assign an image plane to an existing camera shot
- Do one of the following:
- If the camera shot has no current image plane, -click the camera shot and select from the pop-up menu, then browse to select a file.
- To change an existing image plane, -click the camera shot and select to open the for the current image plane, then select a new file using the attribute.
Note
Image planes in the are designed to play movies, so the image plane attribute is automatically set to .
If you want to assign a still image instead of a movie, you can change the image plane to . If your system supports QuickTime, you can still use the type and QuickTime can read some images as a single-frame movie.
To use the image plane to hide geometry
- Set the image plane opacity to 1.0.
The scene geometry will not be drawn.
