View closest point constraint result

To view the closest point result

1. In the Attribute Editor, select the closestPointOnMesh, closestPointOnSurface, or nearestPointOnCurve node.
2. Expand the Result heading to view the closest point information.

   For each node type, the Position attribute displays the XYZ location of the closest point. In addition, result information specific to each node type is available as follows:

   • closestPointOnMesh: Closest Normal, U and V co-ordinates, Vertex, and Face
   • closestPointOnSurface: Closest U and V co-ordinates
   • nearestPointOnCurve: Closest U (Parameter) value
