Motion fields let you accurately simulate objects moving through a fluid. This field applies a force to its parent object, so that the object then appears to move or push its fluid.
Fluid Motion fields have all the same attributes as regular Drag fields in Maya, with the exception that they are parented to an object, and they have preset volume bounds, Inherit Velocity, and Magnitude. For more information on Drag Field Attributes, see Fields > Drag in the Dynamics guide.
