nConstraint > Tearable Surface

Creates a Tearable Surface constraint for the selected nCloth object. The Tearable Surface constraint makes the current nCloth tearable or shatterable. You can adjust the Glue Strength on the dynamicConstraint node to control the tear threshold.

Note

Maya inserts construction history around the nCloth node to break and reform the tearable mesh.

See Tearable Surface constraint and Creating a Tearable Surface constraint.

nConstraint > Tearable Surface >

Opens the Create Tearable Surface Constraint Options Box window for the Tearable Surface operation. In this window, you can turn on Use Sets to add the selected nCloth object to a dynamic constraint selection set.
