Change the opacity of a paint layer

Change the visibility of a paint layer

Turn on or off the display for a paint layer to avoid accidentally modifying that layer or to see how the model appears without the paint on that particular layer.

If you want to change the opacity of a paint layer, see Change the opacity of a paint layer

1. Click the Layers window.
2. In the Layers window, ensure the display button at the top is set to Paint.
3. Click the solid circular dot icon in the Visible column (below the eye icon) that appears beside the layer you want to turn off.

   The dot displays as a hollow circle whenever the layer is not visible.
