This release introduces
the following new or enhanced tools to help you create complex effects
more easily:
- Matte Edge (formerly Edge): Multiple
enhancements are introduced, including controls over the Width and
Softness of the Inner and Outer edges, a Matte Luminance Curve,
and settings to add Noise to the edges. See

- Glow: Enhancements include new Directional
and Radial types (with the possibility to track the Radial Centre),
fixes to the Auto Matte behaviour, two definable Glow colours, and
extensive Blending options. A number of Glow presets are available
to help you get started. See

- Blur (formerly RGB Blur): Enhancements
include the possibility to track the Radial Centre, and Chroma and
Luma blur. See

- Gradient: A new Gradient tool featuring
user-definable colour and alpha ramps with animation support. You
can select from four types of keyframeable gradient objects: Directional,
Radial, Spline, and Multi-Point. See

- The Combine and Mono tools now allow
YUV and HLS colour space inputs in addition to RGB.
