Debayering

Debayering Select the level of quality required from the debayering algorithm. Higher resolutions are significantly more processing intensive.

NoteThe debayering setting is the most resource-intensive setting. Try using the level of debayering the most appropriate for your work.

Detail Select the level of detail extraction required.

Denoise Select the level of noise reduction applied to the debayered clip.

Select: To use:
16 The native resolution of a RED clip. Inferno displays the clip at a 12-bit resolution.
10 (RED ROCKET only) The RED ROCKET card to decode the RED clip. Teh RedRcoket can only be installed in a Mac workstation; use the Gateweay library, to read the RED clip from that workstation.
NoteIf Inferno loses its connection to the RED ROCKET, the clip can no longer be read and its proxy displays a checkerboard pattern. Reconnect Inferno to the RED ROCKET workstation to get the clip back.

OLPF Compensation Select the level of Optical Low Pass Filter (OLPF) compensation to use. OLPF is a type of sharpening used to compensate for the optical anti-aliasing filter, which can induce softening of the image during recording.
