The following improvements
have been made to Smoke on Mac.
- Smoke on Mac now runs on 64-bit Mac OS
X, and uses the 64-bit version of the RED SDK; you can now run the
64-bit version of Mac OS X and use the Red Rocket card to read R3D
files.
- Smoke on Mac now supports a two-graphics
monitor setup. Either use the secondary monitor as an extension
of the Finder (open PhotoShop next to Smoke), or use it as a broadcast
monitor. See

- You can now use the Display Toggle function
on the Wacom Intuos pen tablet to toggle the cursor between the primary
and secondary graphics monitors.
- Smoke
on Mac OS X can now read VTR archives. See

- You can now use a Euphonix MC Color™and Transport™ control surfaces with Smoke
on Mac. Use it to navigate, jog, enable and disable soft effects,
or even control the Colour Corrector/Colour Warper editors, and
Audio soft effects. See

- When you install Smoke on Mac OS X, you
can create a training user and install sample material that will
help you explore the software on your own.
