The OMF Converter Utility translates the following information:

• Clips on multiple video and audio tracks
• Cuts and dissolves
• Speed changes
• Clip and subclip names
• Audio patching information
• Wipe transitions (As available in Backdraft Conform. See Transitions Translation.)
• Wipe effects (As available in Backdraft Conform. See Effects Translation.)

The information in this section describes how OMF transitions and effects map to Backdraft Conform transitions and effects. There are two levels of support that can be indicated for each:

• The effects are translated without effect parameters. A default effect is applied.
• The effects are ignored if they cannot be translated into Backdraft Conform.
