User Settings Workflow

 
 
 

The following example procedure demonstrates the User Settings workflow where an artist needs to create the following series of masks:

To create a series of garbage masks working with User Settings:

  1. In the Garbage Mask tab, select the Freeform creation tool
    (or press D) and draw a freeform mask using default values.
  2. Select the Ellipse tool.
    (or press W).
  3. Enter the name "Red" in the Name field and press Enter.
  4. Clikc the colour field to open the Color Picker, select a red color, and click OK.
  5. Disable the Auto Color button.
  6. Set the fixed size dimensions.
  7. Select Save As User Favorite.
  8. Click once in the Player to create the mask.
  9. Select the Rectangle tool.
    (or press S).
  10. Change the name to Green and press Enter.
  11. Change the color to a green.
  12. Toggle From Center
  13. Click and drag in the image to create the mask.
  14. Select the Freeform tool
    (or press D).
  15. Select Reset To Default.
  16. Create the mask in the image.
  17. Select the Ellipse tool.
    (or press W).
  18. Select Reset To User Favorite.
  19. Click once in the Player to create the mask.
  20. Select the Mask named Green from the Mask List.
  21. Select the Rectangle tool
    (or press S).
  22. Select Reset To Selected.
  23. Click and drag in the image to create the mask.
