Move particles with the force of a fluid
You can move particles with
the force of a fluid.
For an example of this technique, select Fluid
Effects > Get Fluid Example and in
the Techniques folder, look at
WhirlyParticle.ma. For information on importing fluid examples,

Fluid examples.
To
move particles with the force of a fluid
- Create
a dynamic fluid. For details, see
Dynamic Grids.
- Move
the particle shape inside the fluid container. The particles must
be inside the container to be affected by the fluid. For details
on creating particles, see the Dynamics guide.
- Select
both the fluid and the particle shape.
- Select Fields
> Affect Selected Object(s).
- Play
the simulation using the playback controls at the bottom of the
Maya window.
- Modify
the effect, as required:
