FBX SDK runs on the following platforms:

| Microsoft Windows | Windows XP and Vista. FBX SDK also runs on Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000, but has not been tested for those two platforms. |
| Linux | Any Linux implementation that provides GCC version 4.0.x, and libc version 2.3.4 or later. |
| Mac OS | Versions 10.4 and 10.5. |
